What is DOD model of OSI Model?

 Full form of DOD is Department of Defense . It is also called OSI Model

Department of Defense  model has four layers that are given below :

Process/Application layer :-  Application ,presentation , Session Layer 

                                                      Protocol used :-Telnet,FTP,SNMP,TFTP,SMTP,NFS

Host-to-Host layer:-               Transport Layer

                                                     Protocol used :- TCP,UDP

Internet layer:-                       Network Layer                                                                                                                                                Protocol used :- ICMP,ARP,RARP,IP

Network Access Layer:-       Data Link layer ,Physical  Layer 

                                                   Protocol used :-Ethernet,Token Ring, Fast Ethernet
